Physical Attraction

i've come to realize how pathetically shallow most people are.

i'll even be honest, i'm pretty shallow myself

but only to the point where without an attractive mind/sense of humor, all you are is a pretty face to look at.

now, i've realized anyone you're physically attracted to makes everything just harder in your relationship with them. 

 

i cant even count how many times i've had some sort of one sided relationship because they just wanted something physical. 

"oh i can't have a girlfriend right now, i have too much on my plate"

"i just got out of a relationship, but i do still want to do this"

"you know i care about you, but __________________."

any my personal favorite:

"_____________, but i still want to keep talking to you"

you just can't have your cake and eat it too, but for some reason everyones pouring sprinkles all over and eating it whole.

just like that movie/book, he's just not that into you, the guy with excuses isn't someone you're going to want to fall in love with, yet all we do is exactly that. because we always want what we cant have.

or even like drake says in his song November 18th,

"cause pussys only pussy and i get it when i need it"

i know this isn't the case for ALL guys, but right now at the start of puberty most guys only care about self-gain/pleasure. and don't get me wrong this goes for girls too.

what really grinds my gears..

when you text someone and they:

- don't text you at all.

it really doesnt take that long to text "I'm busy right now, I'll text you in a little"

and i,myself usually let people know if im at work or if im occupied doing something.

i went with a friend of mine to monterey this weekend

and met all of her bestfriend's roommates.

this morning she called me crying ,

i asked her what was wrong, she told me that one of the girls i met over the weekend had gotten into a car accident and died instantly. 

my jaw dropped to the floor. 

i gotta say for the small night over i had, i felt really sad the rest of my shift at work.

i cant help but think about how shes really gone.

all of us were going to go to the lil wayne concert in a few weeks 

and now she wont be there 

man...
